Toronto Wigs: Men's Hair Systems

Men's wigs can be divided into two categories; full cap wigs, and top pieces that integrate with the person's existing hair (also known as a toupee). Just as with female hair replacements one should focus on the base and the workmanship: for example is it hand tied, machine sewn or partially hand made? Hand tied workmanship is the top of the line, as it gives the effect of the hair growing from the person's scalp. Hand tied wigs are created by knotting a single strand at a time, which is top of the line workmanship in the wig making world. The system has to be fully hand made. Next are partially hand made systems which are comprised of hand tied knotting and machine sewn wefts. Then finally there are the machine made systems which are machine sewn wefts only. These are the cheapest systems on the market. So men - you have some choices to make. A full cap wig or a top piece (aka toupee)? A fully hand tied system, or partial or machine sewn?
